I'm local, come to the Smithsonian frequently, and just stumbled on this fabulous exhibit Dec 4. I have not read anything about it in the Washington Post or elsewhere, which is a shame. If there's any way to extend the closing date beyond January 8, I hope it will be seriously considered so that many more people will enjoy the tremendous creativity and effort that went into designing and installing the works.

Fantastic but not well publicized (easy to overlook)
